2025 was a full year at Toastable Travel + Events—filled with milestone celebrations, meaningful journeys, and two hosted trips I’ll never forget. From Alaska and the Mediterranean to national parks, cruises, and family adventures, clients traveled across five continents while real life unfolded at home. Here’s a look back at the miles, the moments, and what’s ahead.

From hand-rolled pasta in Rome to a beautiful pork roast in Tuscany and a karaoke-filled lunch in Modena, this hosted foodie tour brought together eight travelers for the culinary adventure of a lifetime. We laughed, cooked, explored, and toasted our way through three of Italy’s most delicious cities—Rome, Florence, and Bologna. What was meant to be a restful pause between adventures turned into something completely different. Our six nights in Naples were a masterclass in flexibility, with fried street food, courtyard chaos, and a well-timed grocery run before the flu hit. We traded Amalfi dreams for Netflix and stretchy pants—but found unexpected beauty in the stillness. This is the story of slowing down, adapting plans, and learning to toast even when things go sideways.

What started as a canceled eclipse trip turned into a spontaneous five-day adventure in Taipei—and one of our most unforgettable travel experiences. From street food and temples to night markets, a boutique hotel, and coastal drives, we squeezed a world of discovery into just a few days.

Halfway through 2025, I’m reflecting on a season of both beauty and loss. From caregiving and grief to client adventures and botanical walks close to home, this year has stretched me. But it’s also grounded me—through prayer, through friendship, and through the hope of the travels still to come.
