Chubb Travel Insurance: Your Top Questions Answered

Travel is exciting, but sometimes even the best-laid plans take an unexpected turn. That’s why I often recommend Chubb Travel Insurance, and in particular their Multi Trip Plan, which offers dependable protection all year long. From trip cancellations to baggage delays, it’s designed to give you peace of mind every time you pack your bags.

How Chubb Coverage Works

When you purchase a policy, you can select your start date up to 45 days in advance, with trip cancellation benefits beginning just after midnight on that date. Pre-existing conditions are covered once the plan has been active for 90 days, and if you renew right away after your term ends, that coverage continues without interruption. Each covered trip can last up to 60 days, whether you’re planning a quick getaway or an extended adventure.

Protection for What Matters Most

The Multi Trip Plan doesn’t just look after your itinerary—it also safeguards your belongings. If your luggage is lost, stolen, or damaged, you’ll be reimbursed within set limits, and if your bags are delayed for more than 12 hours, you can claim reimbursement for essentials like clothing and toiletries. Coverage is available for travelers up to age 80, in every U.S. state except New York, and applies to overnight trips at least 100 miles away from home. Keep in mind that benefit limits apply across all your trips within the policy year, so claims reduce the remaining balance for the term.

Renewing for Ongoing Peace of Mind

One of the best parts about Chubb’s Multi Trip Plan is how easy it is to keep your coverage going. Renewal is simple, and as your travel advisor, I’ll take care of the details to make sure your coverage rolls over smoothly. With travel insurance, the goal isn’t to expect the worst—it’s to safeguard the time, money, and memories you’ve invested in your journey. With Chubb, you can travel confidently knowing support is in place for both the big disruptions and the small inconveniences.
