2024 in Review: Milestone Travel Adventures Around the Globe

As 2024 draws to a close, we can’t help but marvel at the incredible journeys Toastable Travel + Events had the privilege of planning this year. Each trip was as unique as the travelers themselves, and looking back, we’re reminded of the moments of love, connection, and discovery that defined the year.

By the Numbers

In 2024, we sent clients on 40+ unique adventures spanning 5 continents and at least 20 countries, including the U.S., Canada, Italy, France, the UK, Greece, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mexico, and Rwanda (just to name a few). Cruises alone introduced travelers to 20+ Mexico, Caribbean, and Alaskan ports and stops!

Celebrating Milestone Travel and Making Memories

This year, we helped couples, families, and friends celebrate their milestones with unforgettable adventures:

  • A couple marked their 25th anniversary on a Royal Caribbean cruise from Tampa.

  • Another pair celebrated 25 years of love with a luxurious Mekong River cruise through Cambodia and Vietnam.

  • We planned a Caribbean wheelchair-accessible cruise for an older couple, and another accessible adventure to Alaska for a family with a special-needs adult and his nurse.

  • A couple enjoyed their second anniversary in Paris, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast—an honor, as we had also planned their honeymoon two years prior.

  • Speaking of honeymoons, we sent newlyweds to Athens and Santorini, and

  • A couple’s 50+ year anniversary took them on a 3-week journey through Australia, including an RV adventure on the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne to Adelaide!

Adventures Around the World

From exploring ancient cultures to embracing natural wonders, our clients embraced the world with open arms:

  • Two friends ventured to South Korea on a spring tour with G Adventures.

  • A family of four toured the best of Greece with ClickTours.

  • A custom road trip took one multigenerational family through the Pacific Northwest, while another family explored Utah's "Mighty Five" National Parks.

  • For a family gathering in Europe, we planned an epic Paris and London adventure.

  • We created a bespoke itinerary for a couple attending an event in Conegliano, Italy, adding time to explore and taste their way through Venice.

Group Travel and New Frontiers

Connection was a central theme this year, especially with group trips:

  • A group of friends returned to Barbados to escape Boston’s winter chill.

  • A middle school choir from San Francisco performed at Disneyland, an unforgettable trip for 50+ kids and adults.

  • Ladies bonded on an Italian getaway to Cinque Terre and Milan.

  • We organized two group Alaska CruiseTours on Holland America, one in May and one in June.

  • A family reunion came together as they celebrated their matriarch's birthday on a Carnival cruise to Mexico.

Even in our personal lives, we ventured into new territory, taking a triple-destination trip with family and friends to Orlando, Seattle, and Alaska—a learning experience that will shape future hosted group trips.

The Year of Connection

This year, we also embraced our mission of fostering connection and celebrating community with notable firsts, such as planning hosted group trips for the next couple of years. From a church mission to Rwanda to a family celebrating in Alaska, every journey reminded us of the power of shared experiences.
