WHY SLOW TRAVEL IS SMART TRAVEL

Our Story: Why Slow Travel is Smart Travel

Hi, I'm Christie. For a long time, living with chronic illness (specifically Mixed Connective Tissue Disease) made me believe my days of true exploration were over. I loved travel, but trying to "keep up" meant pushing through pain, which led to days—or weeks—of regret.

This channel and community are built around a simple truth: Travel should fit your body, not the other way around. We are the travelers who exist in the nuance—we aren't fully able-bodied, but we don't always need a wheelchair. We need a plan that includes rest days, comfortable pacing, and zero judgment.

Here, we share our honest stories and the strategic planning required to keep saying yes to adventure in a way that respects our energy limits.

We are redefining adventure at the pace that fits us.
